Congratulations to Japan! They just won another World Baseball Classic and now they are going to Disneyland! Japan must have the best baseball players in the world, since they have dominated the world again. Is that why Ichiro, Dice-K or the Matsui’s have hordes of their homeland reporters following them around the United States? I think it might be that America owns the best baseball league in the world, rightly claiming the World Series at the end of the Major League Baseball season!

Who can take seriously an event where all the world’s best players are preparing for their upcoming season in Arizona or Florida? No disrespect to any of the teams that played inspired ball for the past few weeks, especially the finalists Korea and Japan (I love the heart, hustle and solid fundamentals displayed), but let’s not think that this “Classic” is really classic.
